The Tao of ID lanyards

If you've got identification badges in your organization, you're going to need ID lanyards. Not only are lanyards the most efficient way for employee to carry their badges around their necks, custom lanyards can be printed with the company name and logo, and are an excellent way to promote solidarity and morale within an organization. Most badge lanyards, even custom ones, can be had for next to nothing. Of course, if lanyard badge holders aren't your thing, there are plenty of other options out there, custom and otherwise.

The best of these are breakaway, so that if you get your ID or its holder caught in something, it'll give before your neck does.

You can get plain lanyards and similar badge accessories for just a few cents -- often less than a dime. But why not go for the gusto and get custom-printed lanyards, reels, straps, and the like; depending on how many you order, they may cost less than a buck each, even with special breakaway adapters. If you don't have that many employees, give 'em away to vendors and visitors. They're not just handy, they're a simple and cheap way to advertise.
